Product Description
3M Thermal Transfer Label Material 7879 is a silver matte polyester labelstock aimed at identification work that has to survive. The 0.084 mm polyester facestock sits under a matte topcoat that accepts thermal transfer printing with resin ribbons while shrugging off scuffing, chemicals and moisture. Behind it is 3M High Performance Acrylic Adhesive 350, which takes hold on HSE and LSE plastics, powder coatings, contoured parts and lightly oiled metal.
