Product Description

• 3M Scotch Light Duty Packaging Tape 600 High Clarity is a transparent UPVC film tape for light packaging, total 2.3mil/0.058mm with a 1.5mil/0.038mm UPVC backing and pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive; standard roll 72yd/65.83m on a 3in core.
• It is made for L-clip carton closure, inner-box sealing, tabbing/labeling, gift-basket/promotional bundling, document envelopes, garment bundling, party trays and aerosol extension tubes—light-duty and temporary hold.
• The acrylic is long-aging/non-yellowing and the UPVC resists moisture, chemicals and UV, clearer and more durable than office tape yet thinner than heavy shipping tape.

• Light yet high initial tack: “very high strength” acrylic grabs many surfaces for L-clip/tab/small box; higher tensile (490N/100mm) than thin office film, thinner than heavy shipping tape.
• UPVC moisture/chemical/UV resistance: backing resists humidity, many acids/alkalis/solvents and indoor light without embrittling; better environment than PP office film, no water wrinkle like paper tape.
• Clean removal, low residue: lifts from many surfaces for garments/temporary hold without staining/yellowing; better than low-end hot-melt and heavy hot-melt shipping tape for removable use.
• Easy unwind/dispenser-friendly: easy-release treated, hand-tear or dispenser, linerless for daily sealing; smoother than silicone-liner conversion tape and untreated thick film.
• Right-weight light duty: 2.3mil for inner cartons/L-clips/promos/documents/garments—softer/cheaper than 2.5–3mil heavy tape, less edge-break than 1.5mil ultra-thin office film.
