Product Description
Exterior trim on automobiles is what 3M designed GT7140 for, a 4.0 mm acrylic foam tape with acrylic adhesive on both faces. As temperature swings, the viscoelastic core stretches and relaxes alongside the plastic part, so stress at the bond line stays low and wet out stays thorough. The core colour lets the joint read cleanly once the vehicle is finished.
