3M 9731 is a differential double-coated PET tape: clear polyester carrier with silicone PSA on the roll-outside and 3M™ Adhesive 350 high-performance acrylic on the roll-inside/working face; total without liner 0.14mm/5.5mil (PET 0.02mm/1mil + silicone 0.07mm/2.9mil + 350 acrylic 0.04mm/1.6mil). One side bonds silicone rubber/silicone parts/LSE plastics without primer; the other side uses 350 acrylic for metal, glass, ABS, PC, powder coat and oily surfaces. It is used for silicone gaskets, silicone foam, filters, small-part assembly, nameplates and electronic/automotive/aerospace dissimilar joints. Dual liner: clear PET 3mil on silicone side, 58# tan PCK 4.2mil on acrylic side; service −40 to 121°C, short-term about 177°C per TDS group, moderate solvent and UV resistance, stable for die-cutting/slitting.
