Product Description

3M 9475LE is a double-coated tape with a clear polyester (PET) carrier and 3M™ 300LSE high-strength acrylic PSA on both sides, supplied on an 83lb polycoated kraft liner; total thickness without liner 0.114mm/4.5mil (PET 0.013mm/0.5mil + adhesive each side 0.051mm/2.0mil). It is built for permanent thin-profile bonding of low-surface-energy and dissimilar substrates—PP/PE, TPO, powder coat, ABS, PC, metal, glass, paint and paper—with anti-lift, chemical/consumer-chemical/moisture resistance and about −40 to 148°C/300°F service. Uses include phones/tablets/wearables, industrial workstations, automotive interiors/exterior trims, appliance panels/logos, non-implant medical devices and general trim/foam/gasket converting; solventless, UL 969, replacing some screws/rivets/liquid adhesive.

• PET carrier, double 300LSE: clear 0.114mm, same acrylic both sides; bonds LSE PP/PE/TPO/powder without primer—easier on polyolefins/powder than general high-surface acrylic doubles, more conversion-stable than unsupported 9471LE/9472LE.
• LSE no-primer: PP/PE/TPO, powder coat and lightly oiled machined faces bond directly; fewer primer steps than rubber/general PET doubles in automotive/appliance plastic assembly.
• Dissimilar-substrate anti-lift: metal/glass/PC/ABS/paint/paper on both sides with edge-lift resistance; more stable than single-coat or unsupported pure adhesive for slitting/auto-apply, thin PET adds no assembly gap.
• High initial tack and holding: 300LSE builds peel over time/temperature; static shear 1000g/22°C ＞10,000min and 500g/70°C ＞10,000min—better aging than hot-melt doubles, better heat/chemical than rubber.
• Chemical/moisture resistant: industrial/consumer chemicals, humidity and moisture resistance; 83#PCK stays flat in high humidity versus plain paper, cleaner than liquid adhesive.
• Thin, die-cut friendly: 0.5mil PET, 4.5mil total for slit/shape/auto-apply without stretch; foam/EVA/dust mesh/thermal pad/nameplate/FPC辅料 conversion easier than unsupported pure adhesive.
• Wide −40 to 148°C: service across freezer-to-warm ranges, bond strengthens with time/temperature; long 93/short 149°C by TDS group—hotter than office/packaging doubles, cooler than 100MP high-temp transfer such as 9460PC.
• Compliance/OEM: UL 969 for labels/nameplates reference, solventless, various automotive/OEM specs—more production-ready than temporary tape, less mess than liquid structural adhesive.

• Consumer electronics: phone/tablet/wearable PP/PC/ABS small parts, battery foam, dust mesh, FPC assist, light-bar/insulator and logo adhesive; thin PET no screen stack-up.
• Industrial electronics: workstation/industrial PC plastic parts, metal-to-plastic dissimilar fixes, nameplates, filter/small-module and cable-management tabs; 300LSE humidity/chemical capable.
• Automotive assembly: door/instrument PP/TPO trim, exterior small moldings, powder-coated parts, badges/logos, acoustic/EVA/PU foam laminate and sensor details; various automotive OEM specs.
• Appliances: AC/washer PP housing, control panels, decorative strips, nameplates, foam/felt/seal backing and plastic-to-metal mixed assembly.
• Medical (non-implant): instrument plastic enclosures, panels, labels, foam/filter/wire-clip assembly; review sterilization/chemical contact separately, not assumed reusable-peel.
• Signs and general trim: PP/PE/powder equipment nameplates, exhibit graphics, metal/acrylic trim and general industrial trim attachment; UL 969 where label spec applies.
• Converting transfer: foam/EVA/thermal/conductive-fabric/dust-mesh single or double lamination with 9475LE; 83#PCK slit/die-cut waste.
• Powder/LSE fastener replacement: drill-free small metal-to-powder-panel or PP-to-metal-frame fixing instead of some screws/rivets/liquid adhesive, no-hole appearance.
