Product Description
3M Scotch Performance Masking Tape 244 is a professional paint-masking tape using a Japanese washi/flat paper backing with synthetic fibers and a single-coat acrylic PSA, linerless. It is thinner and flatter-edged than common crepe masking paper, for automotive refinish, industrial spray, hardware/plastic/electronic enclosure line work, and marine/outdoor UV masking. Key claims are sharp paint lines, no bleed, solvent/water resistance, UV stability and clean removal after heating or prolonged dwell. 3M China cites best-in-class 150°C for 30 min and marine use; some global product pages/SKUs list 0.08mm and 100°C for 30 min—confirm by regional TDS.

Applications
