Product Description

This indicator tape is constructed with a robust, pressure-sensitive adhesive, a blue crepe paper backing, and chemical indicator stripes. The adhesive is formulated to bond securely with various disposable non-woven, paper, and paper/plastic wraps. The blue backing offers the necessary stretch to accommodate pack expansion during sterilization. Upon exposure to steam sterilization, the chemical indicators visually transition from off-white/tan to dark-brown/black. It is classified as a Type 1 (Category e1) Process Indicator under ISO 11140-1:2014 and is manufactured without natural rubber latex.
